Your compliance officer is notified of each update, sees the status of every volunteer, and approves or rejects items. The volunteer is notified either way.
Automatic checks
When a volunteer uploads a SafeSport certificate, StatZone checks that it looks authentic and updates its expiration date. AAU membership details are checked against AAU's servers to confirm they match. USA Hockey CEP level isn't verified automatically.
State requirements, handled
Many states require specific clearances for adults who work with kids. Pennsylvania, for example, requires a State Police Criminal History Report, a Child Abuse History Clearance, and an FBI background check. Whatever your state or governing body requires, set it up as a role requirement.
