The end of chasing payments.
Dynamic pay plans and automatic reminders, receipts, and retries keep installments coming in, so your volunteers don't have to send the awkward emails.
I don't think I've told you this yet, but at the last board meeting I announced that no one that was not released from the program had any amount due to MHA by the final pay plan installment. The long time board members said that this was the first time ever that everyone paid. I gave all the credit to StatZone because I honestly did nothing to chase these people. StatZone did everything.

Pay plans your way
- Build fully customizable payment plans. Families choose a plan at registration or when they accept a team invite.
- Installments are collected automatically. StatZone sends a reminder when a saved payment method is about to expire; an email a few days before each installment saying which payment method will be charged, how much, and on what date, along with the future payment dates; a receipt with the payment details when the payment posts; a failed-payment notice asking the family to log in and pay; and, for soft failures (not hard declines), an automatic retry after a few business days if the family hasn't paid manually.
- Need an exception? Change a family's plan, record an offline payment, or issue a refund.
- Admins and treasurers get an emailed summary of any failed transactions, and failed-payment and past-due reports show who's behind before it becomes a problem.
Pay plans that recalculate themselves
StatZone divides the remaining balance by the number of installments left. If a family misses a payment, the difference is made up automatically in their future installments. Apply a credit (for example, from fundraising) and the remaining installments recalculate on their own, so nobody has to redo the math.

Offline payment plans
For families paying by check or cash, create an offline plan. StatZone won't charge anyone; it just sends the reminder email when each payment is due.
Start the plan before the price is final
Families can set up a payment plan based on an estimated fee. When the treasurer finalizes the price and changes the amount due, families are notified automatically and the remaining installments recalculate. Especially useful in hockey, where tryouts happen in the spring and ice costs often aren't final until summer.
Credits that apply themselves
StatZone tracks the credits your members earn and applies them to tournaments, tryouts, and other fees and activities, so you can retire the side spreadsheet. Members typically earn credits through fundraising, and sometimes for volunteering as a coach or manager or through sibling discounts. Credits carry over from year to year, so a family that pays off this season with fundraising can put leftover credits toward next season's tryouts and registrations. Members and your admins can both see each member's credit balance.
Since switching to StatZone from our former big name sports management platform we have seen significant efficiency gains - particularly as it pertains to registration and payment processing. The ability to manage credits earned by our members and have them applied to tournaments, tryouts, and other fees or activities eliminated the need for us to maintain external spreadsheets and other tracking mechanisms.
